The Kiawanda Community Center on the beautiful central Oregon Coast is a special and unique wedding venue. We feature three distinct spaces that can be booked separately or combined for a larger space. We have hosted small ceremonies for 20 people and can welcome up to 200 of your friends and family to witness your important day. With support from local Pacific City residents, the team at the Kiawanda Community Center will be the family you didn’t know you needed. Oh, and the magic of the Oregon Coast? We can’t claim we created it, but we promise it’ll wrap around your wedding like a dream.
The Location
Pacific City, Oregon is a bucket list destination for avid fishermen, van life surfers, relaxed beachcombers, and kids of all ages (yes, even the ‘young at heart’ adults). Weddings are more than a well-rehearsed ceremony; they are an opportunity to bring your friends and family together to celebrate the people they nurture and support. You and your partner. That’s why the Kiawanda Community Center is in a perfect Oregon Coast wedding venue. The area features plenty of activities for your whole family to do before and after the wedding. Only an hour and a half from Salem or two hours from Portland, people can make a weekend trip with your ceremony as the main event, or they can drive down for the day.
About this Oregon Coast Wedding Venue
Every couple is different, and so is their vision for walking down the aisle. No wedding is the same here, and it shouldn’t be. Your style, wedding size, and order of events are entirely up to you. Room sizes can adjust to match the number of people in your party, or perhaps the size of the dance floor your new brother-in-law needs. In addition to flexible spaces, we have neutral-colored walls so that our venue fits your style, not the other way around. A large parking lot will cater to your entire crowd, and our protected entry at our front entrance will give you a Hollywood opportunity if you’re into a grand entrance.
The Magic
It’s rare to find an Oregon Coast wedding venue that promises magic, and we suppose it’s because not every venue can. However, in Pacific City, it’s something locals count on every day, like a sunset or high tide. People who have attended an event in our Faye Jensen Hall can tell you about the herd of curious deer that slowly walks up to the windows (sometimes behind the guest speaker or happy couple) to catch a glimpse of what’s going on inside.
The natural lighting that streams through the surrounding trees adds a sense of serenity and calm to the day. The Nestucca River nearby relies on the Pacific Ocean to tell it when to raise and lower, and they do this every day, twice a day, forever. It’s a perfect symbiotic relationship to remind any new couple what a loving union is.
